Description: Emergencies can happen at any time with no warning. Knowing what to do when an emergency occurs could help to save a life, including your own. This course will provide participants with an overview of what to do when an emergency occurs on campus. Specific topics will include: an overview of emergency planning on campus, emergency notification, what to do during specific types of emergencies, and an overview of emergency preparedness steps at home and campus.

Description: This is course is designed to help you better understand what a weather emergency is and what to do during the different types of weather emergencies that can occur. This workshop will cover the difference between a watch and warning, how to be prepared if one strikes, how you will be notified, what to do after the severe weather has passed, and other useful information. Participants will learn how to be prepared both on and off campus.
